This Is A Story I Came Up With After I Had Read To Of My Favorite Books - Fallen by Lauren Kate and Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatric - And I Never Came To Finishing It:

It was a dull, rainy Sunday afternoon when I raided my bedroom for goodies to create the perfect New Year’s Eve party outfit. As I entertained myself, mucking about with make-up and accessories, I came across an old silver tiara. I plonked it on my head and was trying to decide whether or not it was a step too far, when the phone rang suddenly, startling me.
Picking it up, I waited to hear a sound on the other end. Silence. “Hello?” I said, wondering if the caller had lost their signal. There was no reply but I could almost feel warm breath coming down the line, out of the phone and tickling my face. It smelt like icing sugar. ‘It must be my imagination’ I thought to myself.
I started to put the receiver down when a plume of white smoke came out of the phone and swirled around me. I stood frozen to the spot, terrified and fascinated at the same time. The mist began to form a shape. It was nearly as tall as me, with legs, arms and huge wings. I tried to make out its expression, but there were no features on its face.
“I need my halo,” the shape whispered, floating around me and never touching the floor. It sounded like a boy’s voice. I felt its fingers run across the back of my neck, down my spine and then it was gone. My eyes were filled with blinding light and I was falling through a bright white space. The next thing I heard was, “Jessica, Jessica, wake up!” I struggled to open my eyes, but eventually I could make out the blurry shape of my mum looking down at me, worried. I was sure about I’d experienced - and I told her right away.
“Mum, I saw an angel!” I blurted out. “What?” she exclaimed. “Darling, don’t be silly! Angels don’t exist! It was just a dream.” As I struggled to sit up and answer, I brushed my head with my hand. The silver tiara had disappeared! But although what she was saying made sense – I was sure that it was real – and an angel had visited me.
